Chapter 588: His Kidneys Don’t Need Tonics
Chapter 588: His Kidneys Don’t Need Tonics
"Why are you insulting me? How am I not human?"
Yang Cheng chuckled lightly, stealing a kiss on her cheek while no one was around.
"In half a month, I’ll let you experience the taste of a night without stopping. By then, you’ll be begging for mercy."
After speaking, he swaggered away, leaving Yun Chan standing there with her cheeks flushed.
When she returned home, there was still a sweet smile on her lips. Wen Ying saw her expression and sighed, "Chan’Er, have you fallen for Little Divine Doctor?"
"Mom, I haven’t."
Yun Chan’s heart skipped, hastily denying.
"I’m your mom. Your feelings are written all over your face, and besides, today the two of you in the room..."
Before she finished her sentence, Yun Chan hurriedly interrupted.
"Mom, we did nothing! I’m the village chief, I can’t get married. I know this very well."
Seeing Yun Chan was a bit agitated, Wen Ying sat beside her and spoke gently, "Chan’Er, village chiefs can’t marry, but as a woman, if you don’t experience the joy of union, it’s incomplete."
"Mommy has been through it, knows that feeling, but doesn’t want you to go without experiencing it for life. Little Divine Doctor is reliable, and you like him. He’s leaving soon; why not seize the chance to enjoy love’s sweetness with him now?"
Yun Chan furrowed her brows slightly, whispering, "But if someone discovers it, how can I continue as village chief?"
"Yang Cheng said after being an Enlightenment Master for half a month, he would want me. I think by then he might be too exhausted to have the energy for me."
"I have some feelings for him, but knowing he’s leaving, I don’t want to get too deep and end up hurting myself."
Wen Ying chuckled softly, "I think that lad is exceptionally gifted, can even consume Purifying Spirit Spring. He won’t be drained. When it’s time, you can go to the mountain with him, return before dawn, no one will find out."
"I tell you, if you refuse him, once he leaves, you’ll absolutely regret it. Why not compromise earlier and have a passionate love affair? At least your memories will be beautiful."
Originally, Yun Chan planned to seal her heart, suppressing any traces of affection for Yang Cheng, but after hearing her mother’s words, her heart started wavering.
A lifetime is so long, other women in the village can fall in love, marry, bear children, but she has to live alone, void of romantic love.
Now comes an opportunity, the other party isn’t a villager, nobody will know this secret, why not seize the chance to have a taste.
"Mom, I understand. I’ll see in half a month; if he still wants me, then I’ll agree."
Yun Chan’s charming face was flushed red, shyly lowering her head.
...
On the other side, Yang Cheng returned to Da Shan’s House.
He smelled the strong aroma of meat upon entering, the table full of dishes, some he brought back packed, others made by Nanny Dashan’s specialties.
Knowing Ni Qingyao and Yang Cheng both have big appetites, this time Nanny Dashan prepared meals enough for a dozen people. The table couldn’t fit all of it.
"Brother Cen, hurry and sit down. My mom made yam rib soup, goji seed kidney soup, and stir-fried chives for you today."
Da Shan smiled broadly; he didn’t understand it all, but his mom said these were specially prepared for Yang Cheng.
As Yang Cheng sat, the three dishes were served before him.
"Little Divine Doctor, eat quickly. We need to go to Nanny Chunxing’s house before dark!"
Nanny Dashan smiled with a hint of meaning.
As a divine doctor, Yang Cheng knew these were kidney-tonifying foods. The thing was, his kidneys didn’t need tonifying; they were already robust, and more would be too much for Chunxing to handle.
But seeing Da Shan’s parents busy for so long to prepare these dishes, he felt it was impolite to refuse, so he started to feast and cleared all those specially prepared dishes.
After eating, he didn’t feel much different, took a shower indoors, changed his clothes, and headed to Nanny Chunxing’s house.
From afar, Yang Cheng saw a group standing at Nanny Chunxing’s door, even Yue Feng came.
"Ah! Little Divine Doctor is here!"
"What are you all doing here? Are you planning to eavesdrop?"
Yang Cheng looked speechless, utterly puzzled by the village’s peculiar customs.
"This is called ’celebrating a wedding,’ tonight you’ll enlighten the bride. We’ll listen by the door. The louder the commotion, the smoother the enlightenment goes, and the wedding proceeds."
Aunt Small Eyes explained, her daughter’s enlightenment finally coming. Her smile stretching from ear to ear.
Yang Cheng’s expression was indescribable. Even with thick skin, he didn’t want so many people listening at the door.
This was too awkward.
"Is celebrating a wedding necessary? I’m not used to this."
"It’s our custom here. If you feel uncomfortable, we can listen for ten minutes then leave, but we’ll come back for the joy in the morning; don’t be surprised."
Nanny Chunxing knew he was from the city and couldn’t accept these customs, so made a compromise.
"Alright, but Yue Feng shouldn’t listen; he’s Chunxing’s future husband."
Afraid Yue Feng might feel uncomfortable after listening, Yang Cheng shooed him away so he could at least be more at ease.
"Alright, whatever you say."
Nanny Chunxing helplessly smiled, then took a wine jug beside her, poured a cup of wine, and handed it to Yang Cheng.
"Drink this and go in."
Yang Cheng didn’t know what the wine was, but Nanny Chunxing wouldn’t hurt him; he lifted and drank the cup, striding into the room.
Inside, decorated in red silk, two huge candles burning, a girl sat on the bed in a pink dress, shyly looked over.
Yang Cheng had only seen Chunxing twice before, never closely, just remembered the girl’s ample bosom, a voluptuous figure, slender waist, perky hips, and alluring gaze.
This kind of woman is pure yet alluring, no wonder so many seek out Yue Feng’s household for matchmaking; he spotted Chunxing right away.
"Little Divine Doctor, should I... help you undress?"
Chunxing stood up, grabbing his shirt’s corner, cheeks flushed, looking cute and enticing.
"Okay!"
Yang Cheng nodded, letting her remove his shirt, revealing a muscular body, wide shoulders, narrow waist, evidently strong.
"Don’t stop, keep going with the pants."
He urged softly, Chunxing’s ears turned red, lightly pulled down his pants, exposing the dragon to air, its shape impressive even at rest.
Chunxing stared wide-eyed, her beautiful eyes full of disbelief, subconsciously asked, "How is yours so big?"
"You’ve seen others?"
Yang Cheng asked curiously.
"Not really, last night my mom gave me a picture book with drawings, showing men’s parts, none as big as yours!"
Chunxing stammered to explain, cheeks so red they could bleed.
