Chapter 332 332: High-Level Battle!

Chapter 332 332: High-Level Battle!

This condition was indeed very tempting. For someone like Luo Wen, who pursued knowledge and wisdom above all else, the value of this kind of information might even outweigh material wealth.

"And also," Yan Emperor continued, "this cooperative relationship is mutual. If you ever need assistance, the Giant Axe Battle Arena will provide support within its capacity."

Luo Wen fell into brief thought, then asked, "What is the first task?"

"Oh? You agree already?" A trace of delight flashed in Yan Emperor's eyes.

"I want to hear the details first before deciding whether to accept," Luo Wen replied.

Yan Emperor nodded and took out a sealed document bag from his storage space. "This is a strategic analysis task regarding inter-faction deployments. Recently, several forces in the universe have shown abnormal movements. We need someone to analyze the reasons behind them and their possible future developments."

Luo Wen accepted the document bag, feeling its weight. The amount of information inside was clearly substantial.

"Can I take a look now?" he asked.

"Of course," Yan Emperor replied. "However, this information is confidential. You can only read it here and cannot take it with you."

Luo Wen opened the bag. Inside was a thick stack of documents. He quickly skimmed through them and realized they contained internal intelligence on numerous factions, including some organizations he had never even heard of.

"This information is very valuable," Luo Wen said as he closed the files. "How long do I have to complete the analysis?"

"There is no strict deadline," Yan Emperor said. "However, the sooner the better. If you accept, we will prepare a temporary working environment for you here."

Luo Wen looked at his three teammates. They were all giving him encouraging looks.

"I think you should try it," Hong said first. "We don't have matches today anyway. It's a good chance to understand how the Giant Axe Battle Arena operates."

"Yeah, and this kind of contract-based cooperation sounds very free," Lei Shen agreed. "You can leave anytime. No real risk."

"Most importantly, it gives access to high-level intelligence," Luo Feng analyzed. "That will be very helpful for our future development."

Hearing their opinions, Luo Wen's internal balance began to tilt. Indeed, this kind of arrangement allowed him to remain free while gaining valuable information. It seemed like a win-win situation.

"Alright, I accept the mission," Luo Wen finally said.

A satisfied smile appeared on Yan Emperor's face. "Excellent. I believe this will be the start of a good cooperation."

He took out a contract from his storage space. "This is the employment agreement. You can review the terms carefully. If there are no issues, we can begin officially."

Luo Wen carefully read through every clause. The contract was detailed, but overall very favorable. It guaranteed his freedom while providing generous compensation and strong protections.

"No problem," Luo Wen said as he signed his name.

"I will also sign," Yan Emperor said, completing the agreement. "We can start now."

He continued, "I have already prepared a temporary office downstairs. You can conduct your analysis there."

"Let's go then," Luo Wen stood up.

"Wait," Hong called out. "Do you need any help?"

"No," Luo Wen shook his head. "This kind of analysis is better done alone. It involves confidential information, and more people would be inconvenient."

"Be careful," Lei Shen reminded him. "Even though this is a contract, it still involves internal affairs of the Giant Axe Battle Arena."

"I will," Luo Wen replied before bidding them farewell.

Yan Emperor led Luo Wen out of the residence and to another floor of the building. A fully equipped temporary office had been prepared there, quiet and well secured.

"This is your workspace," Yan Emperor explained. "All necessary equipment is here, including a full confidentiality system."

"It looks good," Luo Wen said with satisfaction.

"Then I won't disturb you," Yan Emperor said. "If you need anything, contact me anytime."

"Yan Emperor," Luo Wen suddenly called out. "I have a question."

"What is it?"

"Why is the Giant Axe Battle Arena so interested in me?" Luo Wen asked directly. "My strength is not top-tier in the universe. My analytical ability is decent, but it shouldn't warrant this level of attention."

Yan Emperor smiled slightly. "Your combat strength is not exceptional, but your way of thinking is rare. Most warriors rely on power to solve problems. You are different. You use intelligence to find optimal solutions."

"Is that so rare in the universe?" Luo Wen asked.

"Extremely rare," Yan Emperor said seriously. "There are many strong individuals, but few true strategists. Those who can remain calm and make optimal decisions at critical moments are extremely uncommon."

"I understand," Luo Wen nodded.

"And one more thing," Yan Emperor added. "You are from Earth. That planet is special. The Giant Axe Battle Arena has high expectations for its future."

"Earth is special?" Luo Wen frowned slightly.

"You will understand later," Yan Emperor said with a mysterious smile. "Focus on your task for now."

With that, he left the office, leaving Luo Wen alone.

Luo Wen sat at the desk and reopened the documents. Now he could examine them more carefully.

The information was indeed complex, involving over a dozen factions and their intricate relationships. At first glance, their actions seemed unrelated, but Luo Wen quickly sensed something unusual beneath the surface.

"This is interesting," he muttered. "Something big is definitely about to happen."

He began drawing relationship charts, trying to map out the connections. As his analysis deepened, a hidden larger scheme gradually emerged.

"If my analysis is correct," Luo Wen said while looking at the diagram, "these factions are coordinating toward a single target."

But what was the target?

He continued digging through the data.

Time passed unknowingly. When Luo Wen looked up again, several hours had already gone by. However, he did not feel tired. Instead, he felt increasingly excited. This process of uncovering hidden truth piece by piece gave him immense satisfaction.

"As expected, the value of wisdom cannot be underestimated," he smiled. "This cooperation is going to be interesting."

He lowered his head again and continued analyzing, fully immersed in the intellectual puzzle.

Six hours passed in the temporary office. The desk was covered with scattered documents, charts, and handwritten relationship maps. The walls were filled with notes, densely packed with clues and deductions.

Luo Wen finally put down his pen and rubbed his tired eyes. After deep analysis, a massive conspiracy had finally become clear.

"Just as I suspected," he said, looking at the wall of diagrams. "The abnormal movements of these thirteen factions are not coincidental. They share a common objective."

He walked to the wall and traced his finger across a star map.

"In the past three months, all of them have carried out large-scale personnel transfers. On the surface, these appear to be internal adjustments. But when combined, a pattern emerges."

He drew several lines connecting their movement routes. Surprisingly, all lines converged at the same location.

A star system located in the third spiral arm of the galaxy.

"Blue Crystal Star System," Luo Wen whispered.

A key stronghold of the Giant Axe Battle Arena.

He reviewed the information again. The system contained seven planets, with the third planet, Blue Crystal Star, serving as its core. It was not only an administrative hub but also a rare mineral production site.

"So that's it," Luo Wen's eyes sharpened. "Their target is Blue Crystal Stone."

Blue Crystal Stone was an extremely rare mineral capable of storing and amplifying law-based energy. It was invaluable to cultivators and essential for advanced weapon and warship production.

"No wonder so many factions are willing to cooperate," Luo Wen analyzed. "The value of Blue Crystal Stone is enough to tempt them into challenging the Giant Axe Battle Arena."

He continued studying their preparations. Based on movement scale and timing, the plan had clearly been in development for months. The so-called "military exercises" in border regions were likely just cover operations for the real deployment toward Blue Crystal Star.

"If the timeline is correct," Luo Wen marked key points on a calendar, "they will act within a week. The timing is perfect. Blue Crystal Star will soon enter its fog season, with extremely low visibility. Ideal for a covert strike."

At that moment, a knock sounded at the door.

"Come in," Luo Wen said.

Yan Emperor entered, his expression serious. "What have you found?"

"Quite a lot," Luo Wen replied, pointing at the wall. "And you may not like the answer."

Yan Emperor stepped forward and carefully examined the analysis. His expression gradually turned grave.

"Blue Crystal Star?" he said in a low voice. "Are you certain?"

"Ninety-five percent certainty," Luo Wen replied. "All evidence points to it."

Yan Emperor fell silent for a moment. "Explain your reasoning."

Luo Wen began laying out his analysis in detail, from personnel movements, coordinated border exercises, to black market Blue Crystal Stone purchase records.

When he finished, Yan Emperor's face had become extremely serious.

"If your analysis is correct," he said slowly, "then Blue Crystal Star is in grave danger."

"And there is one more critical point," Luo Wen added. "They will likely act within one week due to the fog season."

Yan Emperor nodded. "Your reasoning is solid. Blue Crystal Star is extremely important to the Giant Axe Battle Arena. If it is taken…"

"What would happen?" Luo Wen asked.

"It is not just a mining site," Yan Emperor said. "It is a strategic stronghold. Losing it would significantly weaken our influence in this region of the galaxy."

"And more importantly," he continued, "Blue Crystal Stone directly affects the cultivation progress of our high-level members. A disruption would damage our overall strength."

Luo Wen nodded thoughtfully. "So you cannot allow it to fall."

"Exactly," Yan Emperor said. "And we cannot simply defend passively."

Luo Wen narrowed his eyes. "You have a plan."

Yan Emperor paced the room, then turned back. "Luo Wen, are you willing to participate personally in this operation?"

"Me?" Luo Wen was surprised. "I am only an analyst. I have no combat experience."

"I know," Yan Emperor said. "But your analytical ability is just as valuable in real combat. We need someone who can adjust strategy in real time."

"You want me as a tactical advisor?"

"More than that," Yan Emperor said, his eyes lighting up. "I want you to witness a true high-level battle."

"High-level battle?"

"Among the enemies attacking Blue Crystal Star," Yan Emperor said calmly, "there are at least three Immortal-level beings."

"And the Giant Axe Battle Arena will deploy corresponding strong fighters to counter them."
